Nilfisk’s development and testing facilities are among the most advanced in the world. Mechanical reliability is ensured by subjecting all key components to many thousands of repeated operations, while rigorous checks at every stage of production and assembly guarantee the highest standards of quality in every product that leaves our factory.

Take the Nilfisk Extreme – the switch has been tested to survive at least 50,000 operations, equivalent to a lightweight boxer constantly beating on the button for 16 hours. The hose connector is designed to complete 7000 bending cycles with 4 kg load. The cable must complete 6000 rewinder pull-outs.

If you ask a Nilfisk customer what exactly a Nilfisk vac is, the answer will be that a Nilfisk lasts for several generations. “My parents had one, and my son and his wife recently purchased a Nilfisk too,” would be the typical argument. “They have two small children and are afraid they might start suffering from allergies.” Imagine how much dirt such a family can create. So it was obvious for them to buy a Nilfisk with HEPA filtration. “Even my youngest daughter – who just moved into her new flat – had to buy a Nilfisk. She was attracted by the youthful, modern design and its compact size,” says the customer. “Our home has to be very clean and tidy. Only the Nilfisk Extreme is good enough.
